We received a grant from Garden Walk Buffalo to beautify and fill our block with ornamental grasses. Our whole block will now be featured on the Garden Walk map; the Garden Walk takes place July 24-25. Now it's up to Mother Nature with a little help from us to make our grasses flourish! Hopefully our hard work will be rewarded with many visitors during the Walk.

This is the description we submitted for our project: Potomac 400 Block Club Ornamental Grass Project. Features 30 ornamental grasses planted on the tree lawns of our block. Ornamental grasses come in a wide variety of colors, types and textures. They often change color with the seasons or send out tall, feathery plumes. Just imagine the dramatic visual impact these diverse varieties will make on one block!

Looks like we're in good company with the other grant winners!
