Gardens bring 1,100 visitors visit to our block!

Five gardeners participated in this year's Buffalo Garden Walk, which takes place at the end of July each year. Over a thousand garden enthusiasts made their way to our block to admire our gardens! They also came to see our Ornamental Grass Project which included the whole length of our block and was specially highlighted on the Garden Walk map.

In addition, many of our gardens were "bloomed" by Buffalo in Bloom. Both of these events encourage neighborhood beautification and showcase the hard work of many of our Block Club gardeners. We also noticed some new gardens cropping up and down the block. Congratulations on your hard work.

We received many favorable comments about our block, and we believe that the sweat equity we've put into neighborhood beautification has taken root in a deeply meaningful way. Good gardens make good neighbors! "Bloomed" gardens are featured on the Buffalo in Bloom web-site.
