Block Clean Up a Great Success!

A record number of residents turned out to help at our annual Fall clean up, and the weather co-operated beautifully!

The day started with coffee and donuts at Larry and Cheryl's house where members went to coffee klatch a bit before starting to work and to and pick up trash bags.

We swept the street and picked up all the leaves and garbage that otherwise would be covered by winter snow. This perked up our look of our block and lets our neighbors and visitors know that we care about where we live.

A major effort was put into the block between Baynes and Hoyt, which is part of our Club. Many heavy bags of sweepings and trash were loaded into Larry's truck and dropped off at the corner for city pick up. Pizza lunch followed the clean up.

Thanks to everyone who participated. If you couldn't take part, please help throughout the year by keeping the front of your house clean.
